Accommodations: Guest rooms and suites have a contemporary Mexican decor, marble floors, private balconies with hammocks, double-size Jacuzzis, and step-down living areas to ensure the furnishing don’t obstruct the view from your bed. The Flamingos Snack Bar offers music, drinks, and light fare from morning till evening, while the lobby bar is open till midnight, and hosts live music. Nightly shows and themed parties keep the atmosphere lively after dark.
Recreation: Cozumel is one of the greatest places on the globe for scuba diving, with the nearby Palancar Reef, the second largest, and arguably the best for diving and snorkeling, in the world. It is home to a plethora of aquatic life and the clear blue waters that provide excellent visibility under the water. A dive shop is onsite, and provides equipment rentals, lessons, guides, and anything else you require. For those who prefer to stay above the water, there are a variety of excursions and tours available. TIP: With the Palace Passport, guests enjoy unlimited select tours including a glass-bottom boat excursion for glimpses of the coral reef. A kids' club for ages 4-12 keeps young travelers entertained throughout the day, along with the kiddie pool and playground.
