Accommodations: The majority of rooms have views of the ocean, and those that don't offer views of the gardens. All guest rooms have balconies, and each is equipped with 2 full-sized beds, air-conditioning, TV, and telephone. In-room safes are available, but at an extra cost.
Dining & Entertainment: La Bahia is the main restaurant, serving a buffet-spread of international dishes, and open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. El Patio is open 24 hours a day, serving snacks and light fare, with a la carte dining for evening meals from 7:00pm-10:30pm. There are 2 a la carte, dinner-only restaurants: Le Bougainvillere serves French entrees and Sabatini specializes in Italian cuisine. Drinks are poured at several bars. NOTE: The Beach Bar and Banana Bar & Café are not part of the All-Inclusive plan, and incur additional charges. Stage shows and live entertainment are performed in the amphitheater.
Recreation: The cascading 2-level pool complex is the highlight of the property, and features a swim-up bar ideal for cooling off after some time in the sun. There is also a heated outdoor Jacuzzi. Chaise lounges are available on the sundeck, and on the sand. For kids, there is a daily program of fun, supervised activities, and a children's pool. A gym and aerobics classes cater to fitness-minded travelers. A variety of water sports are available, including windsurfing, snorkeling, kite-boarding, and body-boarding. Learn to scuba dive at the on-site dive center. Head offsite for horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, canoeing, and cliff diving from waterfalls.
